About The Artist

Quintin "Zayy" Paschall is a twenty five year old visual artist, writer, and educator from Washington D.C.  After graduating from Morehouse College in 2019, Paschall found himself as a 5th grade Language Arts teacher in Brooklyn, New York. Paschall draws much of his inspiration from his experiences living in Washington, Atlanta, and New York.

Paschall first began selling art as a college student, which first gained popularity as he became known for his simple yet innovative marketing strategy of using a cardboard sign that read "Ask 'Bout My Art" and has continued to sell his artwork. In 2020, Paschall  created and marketed his own  clothing line, “Support De’ Homies”, which he has since used as another medium to showcase his artwork.

"I aspire to make art that personifies the Black experience, more specifically, my Black experience. Black art and expression, is itself a revolutionary act. It is my goal to create art that allows people to see their Blackness as something to be appreciated and adorned."
